We had a warm and sunny day on Friday but all that was knocked away but a much cloudier and cooler Saturday. Temperatures warmed to the 80's yesterday but just after Midnight a front rolled through Eastern Carolina bringing with it colder air. The warmest the afternoon made it was in the low 50's, A 30 degree temperature drop in 24 hours. The rainfall that has been associated with this system has amounted to much in accumulation with most of the area receiving a trace to a tenth of an inch.
