Heavy snow is expected across much of the Midwest including Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio and southeastern Michigan on Saturday. The storm will also hit western Pennsylvania, western New York and much of central and northern New England. Some areas could receive more than a foot of snow before ending late Saturday night and Sunday. Temperatures stayed in the teens and 20s as the snow began to fall on Friday night. Winds were expected to increase and cause blizzard conditions across Ohio by Saturday morning. The extremely heavy snow this winter has already depleted snow removal money in many areas of the Great Lakes and Northeast and some communities are no longer going to clear roads. They will be wishing for an early spring.
