A cold front will move across Eastern North Carolina early Saturday and will largely be unnoticed. Some clouds and a stray shower may accompany the front but skies will clear and temperatures will warm to seasonable levels over the weekend. Early morning lows in the 20s early Friday rebounded into the middle 50s during the afternoon. Saturday and Sunday will see temperatures flirting with 60 degrees each afternoon with sunny skies. The fire danger may increase on Saturday afternoon as westerly winds increase to 10 to 20 mph and the relative humidity falls to near 20 percent. Winds should diminish by Saturday evening lessening the fire danger risk.
