Rain And Thunder Hit Eastern North Carolina

A strong cold front pushing through Eastern North Carolina brought showers and thunderstorms to the area on Tuesday afternoon. Rainfall amounts were not heavy but most areas did receive much needed rainfall. The rain will end overnight and dry weather is expected through the upcoming weekend. Rainfall amounts from Tuesday included:

Goldsboro - .37"
Greenville - .35"
Kenansville - .34"
Washington - .28"
Elizabeth City - .25"
New Bern - .18"
Edenton - .18"
Manteo - .17"
Jacksonville - .12"
