Earthquake Hits Great Briton

An earthquake struck Britain early Wednesday morning and was felt across large parts of the country. The 4.7 magnitude quake struck at about 1 a.m. and was centered 127 miles north of London, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. A news reporter in London was quoted as saying "It was like a huge freight train outside the front door”. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
