Forecasters say a winter storm could leave behind
a foot of snow in Ohio as it makes its way across the state.
Schools and government buildings across northern Ohio are shut
down, and the University of Toledo has canceled morning classes.
As much as 6 inches of snow has fallen in Toledo, where several
accidents shut down Interstate 75 this morning. The freeway was
closed for four hours after one accident.
In Michigan, forecasters say that by the time the storm moves
out of the region this evening, 3 to 5 inches is expected to
accumulate in southern Michigan.
Numerous schools in that area have also canceled classes for the
