MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Minnesotans may be used to cold weather in
February, but 40 below? That was the new record low for the date
that was recorded in International Falls today. One resident says
even though there's no wind, "this is bad." The frigid
temperatures have been spreading into the Northeast today,
prompting some schools in western New York to close.
