NASA managers on Tuesday cleared space shuttle Atlantis for liftoff in two days on a mission to deliver Europe's first permanent space laboratory to the International Space Station. However, a strong cold front will be moving through the area on Thursday morning creating the possibility that rain may postpone the liftoff. Scheduled liftoff is at 2:45 pm and it is expected the front may clear the area by that time.
