Wisconsin Agrees To Heat Sidewalks

The Legislature overturned a law passed in the 1980s in response to the energy crisis at the time. Supporters of overturning the ban argued that better technology, the prospect of using less salt, and saving money on snow removal outweighed any negative aspects of heating the sidewalks.
