A Mild Week Ahead For Eastern North Carolina

After a frigid late week temperatures turned around by the end of the weekend across North Carolina. In Eastern North Carolina temperatures rebounded into the upper 60s on Sunday afternoon under sunny skies. Temperatures will reach the lower and middle 70s Monday through Wednesday with possible record highs on each day. By late Wednesday or Thursday there will be a slight risk of showers along with slightly cooler temperatures by the end of the week. Much cooler air is likely to arrive by next weekend along with a better chance of rain.
