Winter Chill On The Way

The coldest air of the winter season will plunge temperatures into the lower to middle 20s by Wednesday night. The temperatures combined with gusty northwest winds will bring wind chills into the single digits and teens. A few snow flurries may also be floating in the air on Wednesday afternoon as the strong surge of cold air arrives. The cold air should last into Friday but moderation of the cold will begin over the weekend. By Sunday temperatures should rebound into the lower 60s and even warmer air is expected early next week. Unfortunately, little or no rain is expected through the weekend.
