Warm Winter Expected

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's long-range forecast for the next three months including January, February, and March indicates above normal temperatures for much of the country, but especially the Southeast. The northern tier of states are expected to be near normal. In addition, below normal rainfall is expected in the Southeast which means drought conditions will likely continue into the Spring.
