Above Normal Temperatures

December started off chilly but has warmed to above normal over the past few days. The average temperature of 50.5 degrees is 2.8 degrees above normal for the first 18 days of the month. This compares to last year when December temperatures averaged 3.4 degrees above normal. Seasonable temperatures are expected through Friday but another big warm-up is expected this weekend. No severe cold is expected over the next week to 10 days so we may just end up with another warm December.
