A Mild Weekend Before Christmas

The last weekend before Christmas will be mild across Eastern North Carolina. The big shopping weekend before Christmas will feature temperatures reaching 60 on Saturday and well into the 60s on Sunday. Saturday should remain dry but a cold front will approach the area Sunday giving us a good chance of showers. Christmas Eve looks dry but another storm system could reach the Carolinas on Christmas day with the chance for rain. Right now there is much better chance of a wet Christmas than a dry one.
