Major Winter Storm Takes Aim At Midwest

A major winter storm will bring large amounts of snow and ice from Kansas northeast into the Great Lakes and New England this weekend. Winter storm watches and warnings have been posted for a large area. The storm could dump a foot of snow from Indiana and Ohio into interior New England. The storm will be followed by colder air that will keep the snow pack in tact well into next week. The storm should ensure a White Christmas for much of the Upper Midwest, the Great Lakes, and interior New England.
