Eastern Carolina Sets New Record Highs

Eastern North Carolina continued to experience well above normal temperatures on Wednesday. Today was the second day this week that saw temperatures rising to record levels. The highest temperature recorded across the state was the Raleigh-Durham Airport where the temperature jumped to a record 79 degrees. Other locations across Eastern North Carolina to experience record highs included:

Washington - 77
Rocky Mount - 77
Greenville - 77
Kinston - 77

Temperatures should reach 70 or higher on Thursday followed by a cooling trend into the weekend. There will also be a chance for much needed rain on Saturday.
