Major Winter Storm For Midwest This Weekend

A developing winter storm across the four corners region of the Southwest will move into the Midwest this weekend bringing snow and ice across several western and northern Midwestern states. Winter storm watches and warnings have been posted for Saturday across much of Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and northern Illinois. The storm could dump as much as 6 to 12 inches of snow and ice in some areas. The storm will continue to move eastward on Sunday bringing snow and ice to much of the Northeast United States. Much colder air will follow the storm leaving the area under a deep blanket of snow for several days.
