Thursday's Extreme Weather

Thursday's highest temperature in the United States was in Winter Haven, Florida where a sizzling 99 degrees was recorded. On the other extreme was Williston, North Dakota, where the early morning temperature reached 10 below zero. The greatest amount of rainfall in one hour occurred in Daytona Beach, Florida. They recorded almost two-thirds of an inch.
