Parts of Texas are getting an early taste of winter, with cold weather and snow putting an end to an unseasonably warm November.
Eight inches of snow fell in the Big Spring area Thanksgiving. Abilene got about four inches.
Parts of North Texas, the Panhandle and West Texas saw light snowfall with little to no accumulation. More snow is in the forecast Friday for the Panhandle.
