The Department of Energy’s Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy focuses on the range of renewable energy sources. The Department of Energy works with other government entities and the private sector to better leverage the Federal investment in research, development and deployment of new technologies. These partnerships involve other components of the Department of Energy, including the Offices of Fossil Energy, Nuclear Energy, Science and Technology, and Science, as well as other Federal agencies.
