In 1900, a late season tornado outbreak killed 77 people in
Arkansas, Mississippi and Tennessee.
In 1957, an F1 tornado went through Detroit, Michigan. A man was
killed at a factory by a falling 200-pound slab of concrete.
In 1979, a blizzard hit Cheyenne, Wyoming, producing nearly 20
inches of snow over a 24-hour period and close to 26 inches in 40
hours.
