No Problems for Local Travel

With the busiest travel week of the year now here, the weather should be the least of travelers concerns, at least locally.

Unusually warm weather will persist across Eastern Carolina Thanksgiving Day.

Lots of sunshine and temperatures in the 70s are in the forecast through the holiday.

Showers could start to slow things down by late Thursday and Friday.

A major storm system will likely cause at least some delays especially across the center part of the country on Wednesday. Locally heavy rain will be possible at both major hubs in Chicago and Atlanta.

Snow will be possible across the Great Lakes Wednesday and Thursday.
