Cyclone Hits Bangladesh

Cyclone Sidr packing winds of 150 mph slammed into Bangladesh's southwestern coast Thursday.

The cyclone leveled thousands of houses and forced the evacuation of at least 650,000 people.

The cyclone caused heavy rain and high winds across much of southern and central Bangladesh. The storm is weakening as it moves further inland.
