"Wildlife officials are urging you to stay safe this hunting season.
Wildlife officials are reminding you of an important safety guideline. Hunters are required to wear a cap or hat or outer garmet that is blaze orange. The orange must be visible from all sides.
Also required? First time hunters must successfully complete hunter education, which is offered free by the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission.
