Oklahoma lawmakers are working to ban the eyeball tattooing.
Tatooing, a form of body art that’s been around for centuries, has only been legal in Oklahoma for a couple of years. But lawmakers are drawing the line at eyeball tattooing.
It’s exactly what it sounds like. The white part of the eye known as the sclera is tattooed in the procedure.
Doctors say there is a high risk for blindness. Though the practice is known on the East and West coasts, it hasn’t moved to the Midwest yet. That’s why Oklahoma lawmakers are working to get a bill passed before it does.

Dear Cat : I truly hope my opinion did not offend you, or anyone else, and I sincerely apologize if it did. Far be it from me to try to tell anyone what to do with their own bodies; I was only voicing my thoughts on the subject. Hope your "removal" is as quick and painless as possible ! To Alpha>> I don't like the location of the tat. So I just kind of want it gone, or at least I say that now! May be singing a different tune after Friday! I have already been thinking of something to cover it with though, just in case having it removed turns out to be a little much..
