North Carolina Association of Senior Citizen Clubs to Hold Annual Meeting in Greenville


The City of Greenville will be hosting the NCASCC’s District 1A State Conference Wednesday November 7th through Friday, November 9th. District 1A represents Pitt, Martin, Hertford, Beaufort, Bertie, Nash, and Edgecombe counties. The mission of the North Carolina Association of Senior Citizen Clubs is to bring opportunity for leadership and active participation in community affairs and further the responsibility of citizenship. All activities will take place at the City Hotel & Bistro located at 203 SW Greenville Blvd in Greenville.

The North Carolina Association of Senior Citizen Clubs 2012 conference theme is Engaging, Educating, and Celebrating Seniors. As an ongoing part of this year’s theme, the conference will offer health screenings, vendor mart, educational sessions, and trips around the Greenville community as well as historic New Bern. In addition, the conference agenda features a formal banquet with live music by Steve Creech Quintet and NCASCC president and Greenville resident Thomas J. Carmon will preside over the conference.
