7th Annual Proud To Be An American Day

Hosted by Walstonburg American Legion Post 332 And the Town of Walstonburg
We honor our Veterans, Military and our Fallen Heroes on this day, as a way to say thank you for their sacrifice and the freedom we as a nation enjoy.

The festival starts at 9am until with Vendor Booths selling Arts and Crafts and Food. We will have Entertainment all day and Kids' play area with rides. The Main Event with our Military will start at 11am.

Our Speakers this year will be from USMC and USAF. The Marine Corp. Rifle Team form Cherry Point will perform the 21 Gun Salute as we honor our deceased and fallen heroes. The National Guard will have the Rock Wall here all day.

We will also have the high schools in surrounding counties join Greene Central JROTC for drill competitions.

As you know this event costs. You made a $100.00 donation or more last year, and we are hoping you can match it again this year by the end of March which will allow us time to print and display your name.

All money raised will go to charities we support, Boys & Girls Club, Children's Home, Interfaith Food Pantry and Wounded Warriors Project, and helping needy families in our community.

Please make checks payable to American Legion Post 332.
Mail to 311 N. Wilson Street, Walstonburg, NC 27888.
