12th Annual Cutthroat Croquet Tournament

Bonner Point, Bath, N.C.
Plan now to join the BCCC Foundation for the 12th Annual Cutthroat Croquet Tournament to be held Saturday, May 16, along the waterfront in Bath to benefit the Foundation’s Scholarship fund.The registration fee for the tournament is $35 for each player. The fee includes at least two rounds of croquet and lunch. Spectators may join participants for lunch for a fee of $25.
A buffet luncheon catered by Chef Paul Cyr to be from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The lunch menu will include hand-carved roast turkey breast, prime rib of beef, Smoked salmon, roasted vegetables, chopped cole slaw, potato salad, roasted corn, black bean and green bean salad assorted scones and dessert.

2nd Annual Bent Creek Taxidermy Catfish Tournament and Neuse River Clean up

Kinston, NC
This is the 2nd Annual Catfish Tournament and Neuse River Clean up that Bent Creek Taxidermy has hosted. Fishermen from all over are invited. There will be prizes given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. Come help keep our river clean while competing for the grand prize of $1000!

Begins at 5pm Saturday, May 16th and final weigh in is 10am Sunday, May 17th

Harlem Ambassadors Tour

Hoops and hijinks are coming to Washington when our very own local challengers, the First Responders Dream Team, take on the Harlem Ambassadors in a comedy basketball show the whole family will enjoy.

The Harlem Ambassadors offer a unique brand of Harlem-style basketball, featuring high-flying slam dunks, dazzling ball-handling tricks, hilarious comedy routines, music, dancing and games for the kids!

Tickets are on sale at First Bank, the Chamber of Commerce, and Frank's Pizza. Advance purchase of adult tickets are $5.00. Price at the door is $6.00.

Proceeds benefit the Beaufort County Police Activities League (BC PAL) and the Rotary Club and will be used to fund Beaufort County community projects and First Responder Programs.

Friday March 28 is the County-Community Teams playing starting at 6:00 pm. Participating Alumni teams are Bertie, Pitt, Hertford, Beaufort, Gates, Chowan and VA.

Tournament continues Saturday, morning March 29th At 9:00 am.

Saturday March 29th Bertie vs Hertford Alumni 6:00 pm.
