The Spin-Man After Thanksgiving Basketball Tournament.

Bertie Alumni Community Association (BACA) non-profit educational organization hosts "The SPIN MAN" after THANKSGIVING BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT on Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015@4:00 PM at Bertie Early College formerly Southwestern Gym located at 819 Governors Road, Windsor, NC.

The Spin-Man is from Raleigh, NC and he spins 12 basketball at one time, provides entertainment and unique basketball tricks to entertain the children, adults and basketball lovers.

Basketball games will be played by community and county teams from Perdue, Bertie, Hertford , VA Wizards, Fire Team and Sweet Georgia basketball teams.

The concessions will be open selling HOT FISH and CHICKEN sandwiches, dinners, snacks, and other food items.

The public is invite to come out and support. This is a friendly family basketball entertainment event.

Admission is $5 adults, $3 kids under 10 years old, under 5 years old Free. All proceeds benefits the BACA- Bertie Alumni Scholarship & Community Program. There will be freebies items for the Kids while they last first come, first serve basis.

Harlem Ambassadors Tour

Hoops and hijinks are coming to Washington when our very own local challengers, the First Responders Dream Team, take on the Harlem Ambassadors in a comedy basketball show the whole family will enjoy.

The Harlem Ambassadors offer a unique brand of Harlem-style basketball, featuring high-flying slam dunks, dazzling ball-handling tricks, hilarious comedy routines, music, dancing and games for the kids!

Tickets are on sale at First Bank, the Chamber of Commerce, and Frank's Pizza. Advance purchase of adult tickets are $5.00. Price at the door is $6.00.

Proceeds benefit the Beaufort County Police Activities League (BC PAL) and the Rotary Club and will be used to fund Beaufort County community projects and First Responder Programs.

Friday March 28 is the County-Community Teams playing starting at 6:00 pm. Participating Alumni teams are Bertie, Pitt, Hertford, Beaufort, Gates, Chowan and VA.

Tournament continues Saturday, morning March 29th At 9:00 am.

Saturday March 29th Bertie vs Hertford Alumni 6:00 pm.

This event is sponsored by the Bertie Alumni Scholarship Program.
