Sneads Ferry Community Theatre warms your heart with the sassy, southern comedy Seeing Stars in Dixie.

Humor with heart

5/20/13 Sneads Ferry, NC

SFCT brings southern-style humor in Ron Osborne’s dramatic comedy "Seeing Stars in Dixie” to the Sneads Ferry Stage! Competition for a small role in a movie filming in Natchez, Mississippi in the 1950s brings out the best and worst in the play’s memorable characters.

Tania Gonzalez, who has directed for OCS schools in Jacksonville, NC and for Barat College in Lake Forest, IL, makes her SFCT directing debut with an all-star cast of characters. Jennifer Meier plays Clemmie, the widowed proprietor of a small tearoom; Marcia Hamilton as Tootie the take charge owner of the local newspaper; JoBeth, former beauty queen and weather girl wannabe is played by Devan Willard; Jacqueline Reck is the socially prominent lady-about-town; Glease, who prefers art & music to football & barbeque, played by Cam Waggoner is the only man in this women's world.
