Jackie Robinson Baseball League 22nd Season Opening Day

The Jackie Robinson Baseball League (JRBL) will celebrate the beginning of its 22nd Season at 5:00pm on Saturday, June 1, 2013 at the Thomas Foreman Park, 400 W. Nash St., Greenville, NC.



Please come out and help us celebrate and capture moments like the identification of the player from each team that will be wearing our namesake’s #42. AND for the first time this year, the role Pee Wee Reese had in the life of Jackie Robinson will also be honored by recognizing a #1 on each team as well.

Craven County Recreation & Parks Department is sponsoring a spring summer youth volleyball league for
girls. League play will begin on May 21st and will be played every Tuesday & Thursday through June. Location
for the league is Vanceboro Farm Life Elementary School. Cost per player is $45. For more information,

Craven County Recreation & Parks Department is sponsoring adult beginner tennis lessons. Dates TBD based

Craven County Recreation and Parks is teaming up with New Bern High School for a Summer Youth
Basketball Camp. Camp is scheduled for June 17-20 for boys and girls age 8-12. Camp is from
9:00am-1:00pm, Cost for the camp is $60 in advance and $65 the day of the camp. Everyone who
registers in advance is guaranteed a ball and shirt. For more information, contact Mark Seymour

The Craven County Youth Girls Volleyball camp is being held July 8-July 11. Girls age 8-11, camp
is 9:00am-12:pm. Girls 12 and up is 1:00pm-4:00pm. The camp will be held at H.J. MacDonald
Middle School. Cost for the camp is $80 with a t-shirt. For more information contact Mark Seymour at

Craven County Recreation and Parks is sponsoring a golf camp. The camp will be held June 10-13 at the
Emerald and is open for boys & girls ages 7-14. This camp will run Monday-Thursday from 8:30-12:30.
Golf instruction will be from 8:30 -11 followed by lunch and swimming. Cost for the camp is $100. For

Craven County Recreation Department is sponsoring a Summer Day Camp program for youth ages 6-11years
old at Ben D. Quinn Elementary School. Dates are scheduled for June17th- August 2nd. Activities include Arts
& Crafts, field trips, games & much more! The camp offers three two-week sessions at $115 per participant.
