Country Christmas Craft Fair

St. James UMC Community Life Center, 1011 Orange Street, Newport, NC
The annual "Country Christmas Craft Fair" will be held on Saturday, November 22, from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at St. James United Methodist Church’s Community Life Center, 1011 Orange Street, Newport. Over 50 crafters and professional vendors will be featured. Items for sale include: Vantel Pearls in the Oyster, Tupperware, Thirty-One totes, woodcrafts, painted glassware, jewelry, crocheted/knitted items, paintings, Christmas decorations and ornaments, and much, much more. A variety of baked goods will be sold, including homemade cream puffs. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be sold for lunch. A "Children's Room" will be open for "little shoppers" to buy inexpensive gifts for friends and family. Proceeds from booth rentals will go to the American Cancer Society. Admission is free, but canned food donations to Martha's Mission would be welcomed. For more information about the fair, contact Susan Smith at 223-5387.

Greenville Brushstrokes Clothesline Art Show

Our Clothesline Show features local artist paintings done in watercolor, acrylics, oil, or mixed media all of which are original works. There will be an array of framed as well as unframed art all at excellent prices. Art will be displayed in the church as well as hung outside for viewing
. Several of the artist will be on site painting. there will be live music, and a raffle drawing for an awesome watercolor original painting by one of our members, Pete Hickey.
10% of profits go to the Pitt Co. Historical Society. This is a must see and experience show!!!

3rd Annual “Birds in Harmony”

The Lenoir County Historical Association is sponsoring the 3rd Annual “Birds in Harmony” birdhouse show, sale and exposition. This will be at Harmony Hall which is located at 109 E. King St., Kinston, NC, across from the Lenoir County Courthouse. The dates are 3/25-4/6.

This will end with the Southern Brunch on Sunday 4/6. This brunch will be from 11:30AM to 2:00PM. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children. Tickets for the brunch can be obtained by calling Harmony Hall Site Manager, Judy White at 252 522-0421.

The show includes, not only birdhouse, but birdfeeders, birdbaths and most other things related to birds. You are encouraged to exhibit your craft by calling Judy White, Harmony Hall Site Manager, at 252 522-0421. Please contact Judy by 3/18. The exhibit will not be open on
Mondays and Sundays(except for 4/6) from 10:AM-4:00PM
