Country Christmas Craft Fair

The annual "Country Christmas Craft Fair" will be held on Saturday, November 22, from 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at St. James United Methodist Church’s Community Life Center, 1011 Orange Street, Newport. Over 50 crafters and professional vendors will be featured. Items for sale include: Vantel Pearls in the Oyster, Tupperware, Thirty-One totes, woodcrafts, painted glassware, jewelry, crocheted/knitted items, paintings, Christmas decorations and ornaments, and much, much more. A variety of baked goods will be sold, including homemade cream puffs. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be sold for lunch. A "Children's Room" will be open for "little shoppers" to buy inexpensive gifts for friends and family. Proceeds from booth rentals will go to the American Cancer Society. Admission is free, but canned food donations to Martha's Mission would be welcomed. For more information about the fair, contact Susan Smith at 223-5387.

Christmas at Twilight

Christmas at Twilight is an annual Holiday Street Fair in Downtown Wallace, NC. The event is held the Saturday before Thanksgiving. This year, it is scheduled for November 22!
There will be food and craft vendors, hayrides, an "Elf Shoppe" where children can make ornaments, and bouncy houses!
The main attraction is of course the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus. Santa will be available to take lists and for pictures. Anyone who brings a new unwrapped toy valued at $5 or more for the "Tons of Toys" campaign, will get a free 4x6 photo with Santa. The toys collected are distributed locally to needy children.
