Neighborhood Back to School Party
851 Howell Street, Greenville, NC
For the last three years, The Pentecostals of Greenville has sponsored a Neighborhood Back to School Party. This years’ event is going to be held August 15, 2015 from noon until 2:00pm at 851 Howell Street. The purpose of this block party is to provide assistance to the lower economic community of Greenville, NC. We will be giving out school supplies to school age children while supplies last. In the past, we have had approximately 300-400 people from the surrounding community attend. About 150 of the attendees have been school age children. We’re using this as an opportunity to connect with families in need and trying to provide them with resources that their children need to be an academic success for the 2015-2016 school year. This event is structured as family oriented and offers good clean fun, fellowship and food. If you would like to interview or find out more information, please contact the coordinator of the event.
