Belhaven ICW Celebration on the Pungo...

Belhaven Water Front, Pamlico St and The River Forest Manor
Come and joy use for the 86th Celebration of the final connection of the ICW in Belhaven on the Pungo River. This all day event starts on the closed Pamlico Street for art, crafts, seafood chowder contest, antique car, tractor and boats. There will be swing music of Sand Sounds Band. In the afternoon there will be a Kayak Poker Run (over age 21) with available Kayaks to rent or bring your own. Watch the boat parade and the blessing of the fleet or take a helicopter ride over the ICW. Lots of fun happens for all ages. Check out the Belhaven Celebrations on FaceBook.

Rouse Family Foundation Appreciation Evening

It promises to be a very special event! The Greene County Museum is offering to the public the Rouse Family Foundation Appreciation Evening. It all begins at 4pm til 5pm, with wine and cheese at a "Meet and Greet" at the Greene County Museum, 107 NW Third Street, downtown Snow Hill, NC.

The festivities will then move to the 5pm Dedication of the Greene County Recreation and Tourism Center located at 470 Hwy. 13 South. Immediately following, a Prime Rib Dinner will be served in the Elaney Wood Heritage Farmers Market. The $40 ticket includes entrance into the "Meet and Greet" and the Prime Rib Dinner. Proceeds from this event will begin an endowment fund for the Greene County Museum. Tickets may be purchased at the Greene County Museum, Stick's and More (216 SE Second Street), Beaman's Restaurant (341 Hwy. 58 South), and Greene County Office (229 Kingold Blvd. Suite A).

ShamRock! For Local Music Festival

Why not celebrate St. Patrick’s Day along with the Beaufort Music Festival? On Sunday, March 16, beginning at 3 p.m., come to downtown Beaufort and enjoy food, beer and wine specials and great live music on Middle Lane.

This is a special celebration – the 26th annual Beaufort Music Festival line-up will be unveiled, local favorite The Spread will play their first live show in months and some new, exciting changes to the festival will be made public. Tickets include music and food and all proceeds from beer and wine specials will benefit the festival. If you look forward to the Beaufort Music Festival each May, as a local homeowner, business owner or purely a music lover, please come to show your support.

Interested sponsors are invited to a special lunch to be held on the same day before the fundraiser. Local band Kudubai will be playing for this invitation-only affair.
