26th Annual Meherrin Nation PowWow and Car Show

Please join us at our 26th Annual Meherrin Nation PowWow and Car Show! During your visit, you will have an opportunity to tour our museum and experience Iroquoian social dances, different styles of powwow dancing, drumming, bead work, basket weaving, and flute playing. You will also see Antiques, Classics, etc) at our Car Show! Bring a lawn chair!
School Day: Friday, Oct. 3rd (10:00-2:00)
Grand Entries
Friday – 7:00pm
Saturday: 12 noon & 6:30 pm
Sunday: 12 noon
General PowWow Admission:
Free: Ages 0-6
$5: Ages 7-61
$4: Ages 62 and up
Car Show Information:
$10 Car Show Registration & includes PowWow admission

Jones County Heritage Festival

Jones County Civic Center in Trenton, NC
Jones County will host its fifth Heritage Festival on Saturday, September 20 from 9 am til 4 pm. Festivities will begin downtown with a parade on Jones Street at 9 am. Events begin at the Jones County Civic Center at 10 am and include a car/tractor show, heritage skills such as looping tobacco, heritage crafts, entertainment, interviews of seasoned Jones County citizens and food vendors. Come out and enjoy a family fun-filled day of celebrating Jones County’s heritage.
