Don’t miss this very informative event. You won’t be disappointed. Many things that you want to know about what we are doing right and what we need to work at.

Dare On most counts, Dare County is a healthy place to live. The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation publishes an Annual County Health Rankings Report comparing the 100 counties in North Carolina. For the past four years, Dare County has ranked in the top 10 for health outcomes. Maybe life really is better by the sea!

A healthy community doesn’t just happen, Every now and then we lift the anchor, test the waters and make sure we are on a true course. Just as the tides and the weather change the sea, things are constantly changing on land that effect the health of our community and the people who live here. We test these waters every three years by conducting a Community Health Assessment.
