TRWP Educator PD Institute: "
Event Dates and Times
In the SI, teacher-participants share their knowledge with each other and sharpen their own teaching through inquiry, reading, and writing, as well as through preparing a teaching inquiry project that allows teachers to explore a new teaching strategy or technology related to writing.
Participants receive 3 graduate credit hours and a certificate which they may take to their own school districts to receive up to 9 CEUs for the Summer Institute. Sixteen participants are selected from an open, but rigorous application process. All accepted applicants receive free books and teaching materials; likewise, their tuition is paid by a grant from the National Writing Project.
