CIVIL Restaurants Kickball Tournament

The Greenville Restaurant Community takes to the field for a day of team building and community fun in their semi-annual Kickball Tournament. This event is organized by NC CIVIL - a local non profit community development organzation. This tourney's contestants are Starbucks, MacAlisters, Hooters, Which Wich, Wasabi 88, Jersey Mikes, Moe's, & CPWs. This event is free to the public with fundraising efforts going to bring new supplies, activities, and programs for South Greenville Community Rec Center

Family Fishing Tournament in Beaufort July 26

Mark your calendar for North Carolina’s premiere family fishing tournament - The 7th Annual Spanish Mackerel & Dolphin Fishing Tournament to be held in Beaufort, N.C., in July.
Sponsored by the Carteret Community College Foundation, the fishing tournament will be held at The Boathouse at Front Street Village in Beaufort, Saturday, July 26.
The annual event has become a favorite of families and fishermen with smaller boats who like to fish closer to shore, from the shore, or from a dock.
Tournament categories include: Spanish Mackerel, Bluefish, Flounder, King Mackerel and Dolphin with divisions for Kids, Juniors, Ladies, Master, Fly, Artificial Lure, Overall Top 10 Boats, and tournament within a tournament.
Held in “America’s Coolest Small Town,” The Boathouse at Front Street Village is the tournament sponsor and serves as site for tournament activities.
The tournament begins Friday afternoon, July 25, with the Captains’ Social at The Boathouse at Front Street Village in Beaufort from 5 pm to 8 pm. Participants will be able to pick up their captain’s buckets, enjoy food and refreshments, and participate in a silent auction and raffle.
Tournament fishing starts at 6 am, Saturday, July 26, with the weigh-in taking place from noon to 3 pm. Awards will be presented at 3:30 pm.

Friday March 28 is the County-Community Teams playing starting at 6:00 pm. Participating Alumni teams are Bertie, Pitt, Hertford, Beaufort, Gates, Chowan and VA.

Tournament continues Saturday, morning March 29th At 9:00 am.

Saturday March 29th Bertie vs Hertford Alumni 6:00 pm.
