4TH Annual Colonial Christmas Crafts Fair
9am - 5pm on Saturday / 12noon - 5pm on Sunday
The Downtown Enfield Restoration & Preservation Association (DERP) is holding it's 4th Annual Colonial Christmas Crafts Fair on Saturday, December 6, and Sunday December 7, at the Enfield Performing Arts Center. The crafts fair - featuring the work of local artists, artisans, cooks, beekeepers, candle makers, soap makers - will begin at 9am and end at 5pm on Saturday. On Sunday, the crafts fair begins at 12 noon and ends at 5pm.
The Crafts Fair is still seeking vendors for the two-day event, so please contact Julia Andrus at 252-908-1227 or Brenda Greene at 252-445-1031.
The house tour on Saturday will begin at 3pm and end at 8pm. The house tour on Sunday will begin at 3pm and end at 6pm. Tickets will be on sale ahead of time as well as on the day of the tour.

7th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting & Flotilla
Cliffs of the Neuse State Park, Seven Springs, NC
Christmas tree lighting and flotilla open to the public sponsored by Friends of the Cliffs. Food will be available for purchase. Movies will be played by the lake. Santa will arrive with the flotilla and will meet and greet all children. Event is free to the public. Donations of unwrapped new toys for Toys for Toys, canned food for the local soup kitchen and monetary gifts to the Friend of the Cliffs will be accepted.

Christmas Candlelight Tour
5-8 p.m., Saturday December 13. Beaufort Historical Association’s Christmas Candlelight Tour showcases several of Beaufort’s private homes, inns, bed & breakfasts and churches, all elegantly decorated for the season. Tickets are $12 and may be purchased online at www.beauforthistoricsite.org.

"The Wondrous Story"--a Christmas cantata

COME AND SEE THE STORY OF CHRISTMAS
The First Baptist Church of Jacksonville will present an outdoor “Living Nativity” on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 12th through the 14th open from 7 to 9 PM each night. The Christmas Story will be presented with live actors, animals and musicians. It will take about 20 minutes to tour through the entire story. This is a free event for the entire community. Christmas Tour of Homes

Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 6 to enjoy one of Washington’s most anticipated winter events. More than just an open house, the annual Christmas Tour of Homes takes you inside some of Historic Washington’s loveliest homes, aglow in holiday splendor.
The tour will take place beginning at 10:00 am and last until 5:00 pm. Guests can visit the homes at their leisure during this time. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event.
The Beaufort County Arts Council is the presenter and beneficiary of the 2014 tour. This self-guided tour affords tour-goers an inside look at the wide range of neighborhood character found in Washington, from charming antebellum homes and grand manors in the Historic Downtown, to contemporary additions to Washington’s lovely and scenic waterfront neighborhoods. The Christmas Home Tour celebrates the diverse and stunning architecture of the many beautiful, uniquely Washington homes. Each home on the tour adds to the charm of the neighborhood as it reflects the eclectic lifestyle of Beaufort County.
BCAC hopes that the public will usher in the beginning of the holiday season with this unique opportunity for a firsthand look into Washington’s homes, decked out and sparkling with holiday warmth and charm, while also supporting the arts council.
