Dan Yesenosky joined the WITN news team in May 2012. He is a general news reporter and videographer for WITN and witn.com.
Dan was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and loves sports (go Steelers, Penguins, Pirates!) When he arrived at Penn State he wanted to be a sports reporter.
But after his junior year, he interned at the NBC affiliate in Pittsburgh, WPXI, doing strictly news. Seeing how every day was different and unpredictable was all he needed to know, and Dan became a news man.
Dan graduated in 2012 from Penn State where he majored in Broadcast Journalism and work at the college television station. He covered every minute of the Jerry Sandusky child sex abuse scandal and the firing of legendary football coach, Joe Paterno.
Dan is very social and loves to go out with friends and have a good time. He loves sporting events and being around other people. He would love to meet you! Follow him on Twitter and friend him on Facebook. You can also send him news tips at firstname.lastname@example.org.
