Player Of the Week: Matt Towarnicky
Matt Towarnicky carried a 4.4 grade point average at New Bern high School but now he's getting set to hit the books, and the diamond, at the college level as a scholarship player at Furman University.
This summer Towarnicky is keeping his skills sharp as a member of New Bern's Post 24 Senior American Legion team.
