Any Football coach will tell you a whole entire season can be a grind. Players get banged up playing games week in and week out. That was the case with Player of the week Ramalle Lanier. The Junior running back, who started on Riverside’s state championship team as a Freshman got hurt early in the season.
It took the bulk of the season for him to get to his top performance level, But when Ramalle did hit his stride, the Knights opponents knew it. In the final game of the regular season Ramalle scored 4 touchdowns, the following week he out did himself scoring 5 TDs in the opening round of the playoffs. The Knights finished the season 10-3, Ramalle had 17 touchdowns. In addition to Football, Ramalle is also a standout basketball player for the Knights
