Since she was four years old Katie Paschal has been on the hardwood dribbling a basketball and now next season she will be doing that at East Carolina University.
The five foot seven inch guard can shoot the lights out in a gym, but it didn't come without much dedication and practice according to her dad.
"Well, her summers have all been spent away from home on the court," said Brian Paschal. "She has sacraficed a lot to get where she is at."
Paschal the Williamston High School senior has scored 3,075 career points but she is focused on one thing, theplayoffs. Paschal says the Lady Tigers want to keep their undefeated record of 27-0.
"It's really big," said Paschal. "We want to stay undefeated I think we are going to have the #1 seed in the playoffs anyways. It's really big because we want to stay undefeated this season."
