The St. Peters Catholic School football season came to an end this past week and while the Wildcats didn't knotch a win in the 2009 season, they did make history.
Morgan Brown became the first girl to ever suit up with the boys on the team.
It all started during the offseason, Morgan emailed Wildcats head coach Joe Blick. Turns out the gal can not only write an impressive letter, she can also kick. Coach blick later named her the starting kicker.
Her parents watch from the safety of the stands. The whole football thing wasn't something they readily embraced for their petite daughter.
Brian Meador has Morgan's story.
