Player Of The Week: KJ Brown

KJ Brown is a big time player making big time plays for the 5-0 Riverside Knights.

Brown led the team in every receiving category in 2009 and he's a big part of the Knights fast start this season.

A knee injury knocked KJ out of Riversides game against Manteo, but the team still has hopes of a state title this season.

I am so proud of KJ...I consider him my second son and he is a great asset on and off the field. He is very positive and I so appreciate that in a young man. Keep striving KJ and know we have nothing but love for you.

KJ It has been an honor to watch you play sports in Williamston. From a 9-10 year old Little Tar Heel Leagues state championship to your high school career. Keep on being a leader for the football and Basketball team. Don't forget, your were a good pitcher as well, play baseball. It's going to be a sad day for me when you graduate. Thanks for the memories.

To Plymouth Viking bball: The fat lady hasn't sung yet. Heck, she's not even started warming up. Don't count out the Knights just yet. To Sheri from Jamesville: I second your comment.

Hang in there KJ. You've got an entire county pulling and praying for you!!!
  • by to: take him out on Oct 3, 2010 at 05:38 PM
KJ is out with a torn ACL and MCL. There won't be a chance for you to "target his injury". Shame on you....that would be a low blow and a sorry way to try to win a football game. GO KNIGHTS!!!
