The two Atlantic Coast Conference recruits were selected on all 25 ballots from sports writers across the state in results released Wednesday.
Cherry, a UNC signee, made the women's team for a fourth straight time and finished second in state history with 3,210 points. DeVoe, a Clemson signee, made the men's team for the second straight season after averaging a state-best 34 points.
There were seven senior returnees to the men's and women's teams, led by three-time women's selections Paris Kea of Greensboro Page and Madi Story of Catawba Bandys, as well as reigning AP state women's player of the year Jatarie White of Charlotte Providence Day.
