Southside Lady Seahawks Improve To 8-0

Southside's girls basketball team improves to 8-0 on the season after beating Mattamuskeet 67-37 Wenesday night at home.

Katisha Hyman, the teams leading scorer, hit her season average of 15 points against the Lakers. Mattamuskeet's Albony Grays scored 10 points in the loss.

The victory by the seahawks came just one day after the team beat Camden County at home.

The Southside boys team, who lost the previous nihgt against Camden County, reounded with a 46-29 win on Wednesday night against Mattamuskeet.

    I will like to add, Southside JV Boys also had a victory against Camden and Mattamuskeet.
