I forgot to mention that most of these highly educated individuals were Viking Athletes during their high school careers. Their postsecondary degrees come from Duke, Davidson, UNC-CH, NC State, UNC-W and the like...some were even fortunate enought to play while in college at Chapel Hill, at Davidson, at Campbell. Our Alumni are everywhere in this great nation making a difference today!

Coming from a Williamston High School alum, Class of 1996, I wish the best of luck for the Plymouth Vikings in representing Northeastern North Carolina. I will say Go Vikings.

Congrats to Southside and Plymouth Good Luck To Both I hope this is not true but I just heard Plymouth will take the 3 hour activity bus ride up to The Dean Dome Saturday morning leaving @ 9am. I thought they would make this an unforgetable acheivement for the kids not a FIELD TRIPP. Poor Plymouth can't get anything right. Maybe it's not true.

I know. They should at least take them to the great UNC basketball Mus. It's great and they should see it. They should also get to see the campus a little. It could be a learning experience as well. Good Luck Vikings!!!!!!!!!

UNC Basketball = Overrated; Syracuse is better than UNC-Cheater Hill and Dook.

Congrats to the Viking basketball team. Let's bring home the gold this time. Yes, Athletics is important to a well rounded individual. I will put our best students up against the best anyone has to offer...any where, any place and any time. Plymouth has alumni that are Doctors, Lawyers, Professors and others holding higher degrees from some of our countries finest universities. Proportionally, The Vikings have as many highly educated young people as the next high school. You know why, parents and teachers who are willing to make the difference. I hope Viking Alumni from all over the state will show up in Chapel Hill next weekend to support the next 1A state champions!
