Riverside High School senior Marcus Freeman stands out on the basketball court and the football field, and not just because he stands 6'8" and 230 pounds.
Knights head basketball coach Bobby Williams says Freeman is one of the most unselfish players at Riverside despite the fact that he could raise his already impressive statistics.
Freeman averages nearly 18 points and 14 rebounds per game but his most impressive stat may be that he averages 2.1 assists per game which is a testament to "team first" attitude.
Marcus Freeman led the Riverside Knights to a 19 win season and a birth in the 1-A East Sectional Finals and is WITN's newest Player Of The Week.
