Player Of The Week: Jaimee Radel

Swansboro senior pitcher Jaimee Radel has notched over 1,000 career strikeouts and before she heads off to play softball at Pitt Community College, Radel wants to bring the Pirates a state title.

Swansboro and Radel will face off against Wilson-Beddingfield in the 2-A state Sectional finals. Last year Radel and her team finished runner-up for the 2-A state title losing to Canton Pisgah 4-3.
